The Cause Captain sets the dates and places to serve and volunteer, then others sign up to join them for the day of giving. Some groups could just say "show up" while others can have a fee for the activity based on the need or cost.
Food" building team activities are donated to food banks and community initiatives that combine recreation and education for youth. You will enjoy teaming up to design, construct and compete then tear down, box up and donate your project.
Working with schools and community centers your project can help build and teach youth about healthy food, gardening, and volunteering. Your group will be part of the process as you build, plant, teach and give it away.
Looking for an afternoon out with construction attire, but not the technical requirements? Team up to fix up a home or neighborhood community center.
Change a backyard by building a playset, picnic bench, barbeque and whatever you may want to add to give your recipient family.
A great cause for the holidays, or just for the healthy of it as you assemble a bike and donate it to a group of kids. Don't stop there, what about adults who need to ride bikes to work!
Start a golf group and compete in a series of existing fundraisers to both play and give to a cause. Put on your own tournament and decide how you will play and donate the money!
There is always a way to connect in the community and serve an organization with a need. Just pick your cause and invite others to join in. Make sure you stop to celebrate your efforts as you create new friendships.
